Summer season - 13 November 2007

Joachim (Yo) Smith carried out his first commercial flight for Sunrise Balloons on Sunday the 11th November, Yo is flying here for the summer, he normally flies in the Massif Central in the south of France, an area surrounded by mountains very similar to Queenstown's landscape!

We are expecting delivery of a new Lindstrand 240A at the end of November so will be posting some nice photos soon!

Record Altitude - 19 July 2007

We reached our highest ever altitude above Queenstown - 11,780 feet, 3591 metres.

The photo was taken at this height looking towards Queenstown.
